This is a beautiful and rare, unused vintage EISHO powder compact from Japan, presented in its original box. The lid features a breathtaking, multi-metal inlay design of a hummingbird feeding from large, coppery-pink camellia flowers and leaves. This detailed artistry is characteristic of high-quality Japanese export pieces, using silver, rose-gold tone, and blackened metals against a silver background. The round compact has a decorative scalloped edge and a high-shine, gold-tone casing with a concentric wave pattern on the back. Interior: The compact opens to reveal a mirror and the original EISHO instruction card, which confirms it can hold solid powder if a thinner puff is used. Please note: A powder puff is NOT included.
