Vintage Duck Trinket Box, PV, Peasant Village

This vintage pottery box/trinket box is a nicely painted example of Peasant Village pottery pieces. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, stains or discoloration. The bottom of the box is marked PV in a circle, Made in England on the bottom. The PV in a circle mark was used by the New York import company, Mittledorfer-Strauss. This company was in business from the 1920’s to the 1970’s. The PV stands for Peasant Village. The box measures 5” L x 3” W x 3 ½” H
