Vintage Duck Planter, Mid Century Pottery, Kitsch Anthropomorphic Bird Plant Pot

Cute vintage duck planter, probably from the 1960s. It is ceramic, cream colored with brown trim, and a yellow bill and yellow feet. Just adorable with its open mouth which is almost smiling and its wide eyes! Measures Approximately 5"H x 6" W x 3 1/2" D. It doesn't have any markings so I don't know where it was manufactured. Could be California pottery / Shawnee etc? In very good vintage condition - it does have some crazing due to age, and a bit of paint wear on the feet, but no chips or cracks. Would look really cute with a succulent plant (a 2-inch round nursery pot would fit inside) or an air plant, or with a faux succulent inside. Great for a nursery, baby shower gift!
