Vintage Made in Japan Double Teapot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage. 4 pieces total including an inner strainer for upper pot. Has been stored in a box for many years since it was acquired over 40 years at an antique shop. Not certain about actual age, but it is backstamped (as opposed to a paper label) Made in Japan, so could have been as early as 1941 or as late as 1970’s. Could be considered mid-century modern. Sorry, I’m not an expert in this item. Colors are lime green and white with silver accent trim. No damage to silver trim. Tiny imperfections are from pre-firing in a kiln. Appears to be a porcelain pottery. Dimensions are 9” tall, 8” at the widest part, diameter of upper pot rim is 4”; lower pot rim is also 4”, but bowl is larger on bottom than top. No smoking home.
