Cardboard has minor wear and bending due to storage. We tried to test it but the switch is on the back and we can't get to it. As per the back panel, item requires 2 AG3 batteries which are included. However, because of the age, we're not sure these batteries still work so it's more than likely the batteries will need to be replaced.
