Vintage Delft Blue Whaling Scene Art Tile Trivet Holland

Vintage Delft blue tile made in Holland. Hand painted. Marked on back. Maker of the tile is Mettlach. Glazed front, back not glazed. Title of art on it is "The Conflict".Whalers in boat getting tipped over by a whale. 5 7/8 inches square. Good vintage condition for age and use. No chips or cracks. Side edges have some dirt. Backside has dirt, stains, marks from use. Looks like someone attached a hanger that's no longer there on back top. While it's a trivet, it can be hung on the wall like a plaque.
