For your consideration is a beautiful, vintage string of pearls by Carol Dauplaise. Dauplaise founded her jewelry company, Dauplaise Jewelry, in 1978 after working as a senior designer for the famous jewelry brand Miriam Haskell. The company specialized in creating stylish and bold costume jewelry, often featuring faux pearls, gold-tone metals, and intricate designs.
This necklace is longer length at 36”. The faux pearls are on the larger side at 10mm. There is a gold tone clasp which is marked Dauplaise on one side and a Patent number on the back. The piece shows mild wear but is in very good condition considering it is likely around 50 years old. A wonderful addition to any collection!
