Vintage Danforth Pewter Candle Ornament (RARE)

This vintage pewter candle ornament was crafted by the makers at Danforth Pewter of Vermont. Inscribed on the back is "(c) [indecipherable date] Danforth Pewter Lincoln, Vt.” It was probably crafted by Fred and Judi Danforth directly from their studio in Lincoln, VT just before they opened their facility in nearby Middlebury, VT in 1988. The date of the inscription is difficult to see but appears to be 1981 or 1984. Danforth Pewter was founded in 1975 in Woodstock, VT. Their second studio was in Lincoln, VT where they. moved to before the facility in nearby Middlebury, VT was built in 1988.
