Pre-owned. Middle button loop is messy. Not torn or unraveling, but it looks like the loop is pulled. Not very notiecable because of the fuzzy & curly nature of the wool. No holes that I can see, stains, tears, or missing buttons. No perspiration stains. No tears in lining.
