Vintage Crystal Red Aurora Borealis Bead Wreath Brooch, 1960s

*Description: This is a beautiful wreath brooch from the 1960s and with unique shaped crystal ruby red crystal beads in a longer barrel faceted shape. Another great feature of this brooch is the golden brass colored filigree base where the beads are wired. Some of the beads are attached with rhinestone pin heads and others are golden brass tone. The outer row are the faceted barrel beads with golden brass pin heads. The inside rows are a combination of bicone and round faceted ruby red Swarovski beads. These middle sections are where the combination of clear rhinestone pin heads and golden brass pin heads decorate the tops of these beads. Today, these Swarovski beads would be in the Siam red family.
