Vintage Cracker Barrel Country Apple 4 Piece Canister Set Metal Closures 3D

Vintage in great condition never used only had out for display. Set of 4 Red Apple with Green Leaves Kitchen Ceramic Canisters. Purchased at Cracker Barrel in the 90's these are very sturdy thick ceramic Canisters with sturdy silver heavy-duty metal hinges. Each Canister also has a thick seal to make closure is very snug - this keeps your flour, sugar, and whatever you choose to put in it fresh. All seals work great, as do the hinges. Not cheap metal that breaks easily. 1) Largest: 8 1/2" in diameter and 9 1/2" high. Will hold a five Ib bag of flour easily to give you an idea of it's size. Large Canister by itself weight is 3lbs. 2) Next Largest: 5 3/4" in diameter and 8 5/16" tall. Will hold 5lbs granulated sugar. 3) Next to smallest: 5" in diameter and 6 1/2" tall. Will easily hold a Ib confectioner sugar, maybe two Ibs 4) Smallest: 5 5/8" diameter 5 114" tall. I kept coffee in this one, but will hold many things. Seller has looked around plus checked out best kitchen item websites, and it's safe to say, not making canister sets (quality & durability-wise) like they used to, at least not like these! *All measurements are approximate.
