Vintage Corning Ware p1b

ladies and gentleman it is certainly my privilege to post something near and dear to my heart. Corning Ware 1 and 3/4 quart p1b early 60s pretty darn rare and you won't find the word microwave on this dish. Folks this is not a random find from a thrift store, this is a dish that I grew up with seen on the table every Sunday for Sunday dinner along with other parts to it. this 1-3/4 quart casserole dish is all that's left of my mother's blue corn Corning Ware. My mother believes the lid is original the only markings on it are a B-8 if I'm not mistaken.( see the pictures) there is the slightest of a chip on the lid it's more of a ding extremely tiny. the casserole dish is flawless. One can truly say with complete confidence"they don't make them like that anymore!" Friends this is a real one this is a one owner this dish has spent years in New Zealand, nearly three decades in Hawaii and a couple of decades in Arizona. I'm 60 now and I remember this dish, these designs in my earliest memories of being at the dinner table. It's time to pass it on. I will ask a reasonable price with the hopes that it goes to a collector with a passion for a historic collection of of beautiful things. (sorry that last line was kind of silly) thanks so much.
