Vintage Cork Metal Desk Calendar Holder

Approx 12" x 3" Cork and metal calendar holder. I'm not quite sure how it works, but there's the names of the week in front of the slot, I assume the slot it for mail and such and you place each piece according to when it needs to be dealt with. There's also a holder for a pen or pencil. Good used condition. Probably from the 1970s.
