Stunning! Vintage Deep Sea Coral Necklace. Also known as Midway Misu Coral. Circa the late 1960s to early 1980s; estimate. This colorful necklace has a gold plated fish hook slide clasp. The necklace is graduated and in original condition. There are some visible lines in the beads which are not cracks, but a normal feature of this type of coral. Please note that each bead is unique, handmade, and a natural material; and as such will have tiny differences in shape, pattern and color. Width; 4mm to 12mm; 1/8"-1/2". Condition; Very good vintage condition. This pre owned piece will show signs of use and age. The slide clasp has some rub off on the back. It is in its original condition; someday it may require re-knotting. Clasp is in working order. These beads are from nature and will have dimples, and lines and the small surface imperfections of a natural handmade material; this is normal and has no effect as far as wearability.
