Vintage Coach Tan Leather Large Slim Satchel Handbag with unique “COACH BAG REGISTRATION NUMBER” 384-3132 that appears on only one bag. This iconic tan Coach handbag from the early 1980's is made from luxurious glove tanned cowhide. Unlike newer bags there is no style number on the Creed. This gorgeous tan bag's creed pictured in the photos reads: "THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT IS MADE OUT OF A COMPLETELY NATURAL GLOVE TANNED COWHIDE. THE SCARS, SCRATCHES, VEINS AND WRINKLES ARE NATURAL MARKINGS CHARACTERISTICS OF FULL GRAIN LEATHERS. MADE IN NEW YORK CITY, U.S.A. No 384-3132 COACH BAG REGISTRATION NUMBER” Collectors of vintage coach look for Coach bags with “MADE IN NEW YORK CITY, U.S.A” because it indicates an older bag that was made before Coach expanded its operations to other cities. This elegant tan bag has a durable heavy duty brass zipper closure in the top. Inside the bag there is bag, a spacious storage area and an open pocket at the front. The tan color is versatile and goes perfectly with most outfits. The bag measures approximately 13 1/4 inches wide, 9 3/4 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. This bag has one owner (me!) and is in good used condition. The original coach tag is missing, there is a dark spot inside the bag and a small dark spot outside on one side (see photos 14 and 15), and some light streaking outside one one side (see photo 14).
