Hi, I see there’s some “peeling” on the front hardware - is this solid brass? Just wondering if it can be polished. Usually if it is solid, a magnet will stick to it.

@laceymeiko cannot confirm about the brass 100% but after reviewing the item it looks like this is permanent vintage patina :D (doesnt look like polishing will affect that).
