Vintage Coach Leather Essex Messenger Bag Briefcase Unisex Mahogany Brown

Hard-to-find authentic vintage Coach Essex briefcase in rare mahogany brown. This style is one of Coach's earliest "commuter" bags, made specifically for men. Today, this would be considered a unisex style, made of thick, softened glove-tanned cowhide with adjustable shoulder/ crossbody strap, top carry handle, flap front with two brass turn-lock closures, storage pockets, underneath front flap, two large interior compartments with zippered pouch pocket, and full-sized rear exterior slip pocket. Also includes original Coach shoulder pad on strap, solid brass hardware, natural (unlined) interior. A beautiful bag that has been gently used.
