julieboswell I just started following you and you have a gorgeous collection! If you don’t mind me asking, how do you clean the interior? I have some vintage Coach bags that could use a good cleaning on the interior, but the suede makes me nervous. Thanks!

mburciag @julieboswell hi! :) I buy them secondhand and have a fear of cooties so I wash every bag. Soak them in hot water with Murphy’s oil soap. Gum and other stains can be removed with folex, sometimes. I scrub the inside with a kitchen brush. When they dry, which takes about three days, I start the conditioning process

jami_eaton @mburciag hello. Murphy’s oil soap, the orange stuff for wood? Interesting... I have an old Coach that I would like to do a deep cleaning on too. Does Murphys make the leather soft?

mburciag @jami_eaton no it just cleans the leather. You need a good conditioner/restorer to soften the leather. I like leather therapy. It’s expensive but worth it

brendalindst63 Hi, I believe this bag to be a counterfeit. 4161 is a Soho bag. 9021 is the Weston Shopper as listed in the Coach ad for the bag. J8H is a known fake prefix number.
