Vintage Clay Art Pottery Female Figure Sitting w/Pots Primitive Blue Speckled Glazed, Primitive, ONE OF A KIND Condition: Pre-owned in very good conditon. This is a primitively made sculpture of clay and glaze, measuring about 5.5" tall by 5"w at the base. The pots on this piece are open and while I'm not exactly sure of it's purpose, it feels like it could hold a couple of small candles on the end pots. No markings on the bottom of the piece to distinguish the artist. The glaze is absolutely beautiful and interesting. Overall, I don't have much information on this piece than how I acquired it, which was at an estate sale from a well traveled woman with many interesting pieces. In terms of damage, there appears to be a crack in one of the pots as well as a couple of chips in the glaze. One of a kind piece from parts unknown that has a story to tell.
