Vintage Clarence violet pansy floral bone China tea cup & saucer made in England

My Aunt Josephine collected teacups, she liked having unique pairs for her friends whod come over to play gin rummy or bridge during the week. This cup & saucer set has a brilliant violet color with lots of lovely pansies Both have a beautiful gold rim design & the cup has stripes about its base & handle. A fun reveal is the flowers are also in the cup making each sip a nice one Clarence Bone China Made in England Cup is numbered x 1L /1l.7 & plate has a simple X marking Cup measures almost 3" tall with a 3.5" diameter Saucer is 5.5" diameter with a 1" raised edge The cup/ saucer are in perfect shape without cracks, chipping or dulling Both the plate/ cup have matched design The handles detailed & a finger can easily fit to lift properly. Both arent fragile & have a nice weight Stored with care in a smoke/ pet free environment
