Vintage Circle X 18 Inch Bride Doll Rare Walker 1950s Blond Original Clothes Here is a gorgeous bride doll from the 1950s. She is unusual because she is a flat foot walker doll. Her walker works pretty well. Her body is hard plastic and she has a vinyl head. She’s marked with an X in a circle on her head and with a plain circle on her back. Such dolls were sold to department and grocery stores for them to rebrand. This is probably a grocery store doll because her dress has buttons but her underclothes are pinned on. The doll has yellow blond hair with all its original hair pins. Her eyes are pale hazel green and work well, opening and closing. She wears her original net and lace wedding gown with silver accents and matching veil. Under the dress she wears a satin strapless slip and net petticoat with a wire hem to make it stand out. She also wears satin panties, rayon socks, and vinyl shoes. She has a faux pearl necklace as well. I gave her a vintage bouquet and that’s the only part of her outfit which isn’t original. The net dress has a couple tiny holes, very hard to see. You can pin her veil on a couple different ways. Don’t miss the chance to add this lovely doll to your collection.
