Vintage Churchill Handwoven chenille oversized poncho cape wrap with fringe. Super soft and heavy weight. Handwoven. Excellent vintage condition. Long and luxorious Churchill Weavers began in 1922 in Kentucky. In the 1920’s, David Caroll Churchill and his wife Eleanor Franzen Churchill opened Churchill Weavers. Churchill Weavers was founded on a shared passion for high quality hand-woven goods that the couple had grown to love while doing missionary work in India. The company centered on hand weaving looms designed and built by Mr. Churchill and fabric designs created by Mrs. Churchill. This would be a collector's item, as many of the Churchill Handwoven items are kept in a museum. This is a rare find and is in excellent / like new condition Length including the fringe is approximately 35” Chic and substantial - made to help keep you warm.
