Festive large vintage Christmas stocking It still has the original blank price tag attached and has never been used (photo 3) Many years ago, before price tags were printed on stickers or barcodes came along, shop owners wrote prices on items by hand This stocking was never priced so the tag is still blank This piece dates to the Mid Century era Features colorful leaping reindeer and a sleigh with a sack of presents on a white background dotted with stars The top has a dripping icicle design in candy cane stripes Made of felt with foil and rick rack embellishments Stamped Made In Japan on the front (photo 7) Measures approx 26 1/2” from top to toe, approx 8 1/4” across the top and tapers to approx 6 1/4” at the ankle Nice vintage condition with age appropriate wear, there are normal age discoloration spots from storage (photos 7-11) Please see all photos as part of the description Please note colors may vary due to different computer/screen settings
