Vintage Christian Dior Lingerie pink cotton & white lace nightgown / robe

Rare Christian Dior Lingerie cotton and lace nightgown / dress / robe in immaculate vintage condition. This beautiful piece is made from lightweight semi-sheer cotton in a gorgeous shade of pale pink that is reminiscent of cotton candy. The white lace on the hem and sleeves is soft and features a floral motif and a scalloped edge. The short sleeves are gathered at the shoulder and each sleeve has a small subtle rosette made from lace, ribbon and tiny pearls. The chest panels featured pale pink cotton broderie anglaise threaded with white ribbon and the neckline also has soft lace detailing. There are seven petite buttons in a subtle pearly finish and two pockets. While perfect as lingerie, it would also be striking and on trend to wear out and about too, buttoned or unbuttoned, as a light summer duster or cover-up over summer dresses / tanks / shorts / swimwear. The label lists the size as medium. This piece is in fantastic condition with no stains, holes, or pulls. Made in the USA.
