DETAILS This is a fabulous, rare, and sought-after pair of 1996 vintage brown Levi's 501 jeans that I picked up in Paris, made in France. They are super chic and SO spot on for this Fall . . . especially with the explosion of chocolate, mocha, muted browns in fashion. SIZING Original Tag 30x34, but see below for real measurements: Waist: 14.5" Rise: 11" Thigh: 11.25" Bottom of hem: 8" Inseam: 30" Vintage denim lacks stretch. Here are the key steps for finding the right fit: Measure your favorite jeans: Select a pair of 100% cotton jeans that fit you well and lie them flat. Measure carefully: Use a measuring tape to get the waist, hip, and thigh measurements. Compare to the measurements listed above. Consider the fabric, these are 100% cotton and rigid, meaning no stretch (though these are soft and a great feel to the hand! I am typically a 4 in most brands, or 27 or 28 in jeans; these fit me beautifully with a little slouch but not much. If you want a more tailored look, these would do that for you if you're a 6 in many brands, and these would be boyfriend on you if you're a 2 or smaller, depending on how you like to wear your jeans.
