This exquisite handcrafted polychrome porcelain ginger jar/vase features intricate details reminiscent of the Qing Dynasty art in famille rose colors. The detailed design portrays a message of good fortune, protection and status through the images of the bats, halberds and parasols. The vase also has a craquelure artist made effect. Mid-late 20th Century, Made in Macau by Oriental Objects D’art for decorative use only. Excellent used condition (no lid) with no chips or cracks (green felt was added to bottom).
