Vintage Chinese Porcelain Blue & White Covered Box Asian Landscape Hand Painted This is a vintage Chinese porcelain lidded ink box with hand painted cobalt blue decoration on a white ground. The ink box features mountainous scenes on the four sides and the lid features a pagoda in the mountains. The interior of the lid features the artist's mark in cobalt under glaze. The ink box measures 2 1/4" in height, 4 3/4" in width and 3 1/8" in depth. Overall the ink box is in very good vintage condition with no chips, breaks, cracks or repairs. Its irregular shapes and imperfections show that it was handmade.
