Vintage Chinese Parasol/Umbrella, Hand Painted Oil/Wax -Paper Bamboo W/ Tassels

This vintage Asian parasol/umbrella is a unique and handmade piece with a hand-painted oil/wax design on paper and bamboo, complete with tassels. The detailed craftsmanship and traditional design make it a special and collectible item that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Asia. I have no idea where it's made or anything. There is a signature or something to that effect on the top of the umbrella. It comes lined with tassels hanging off the end of it. I wasn't sure how to latch it in place. I'm always afraid I'm going to mess something up and break it. I'm also not sure what the tassels are used for on the inside. That MIGHT be the way to lock it in place.
