Vintage Chinese Hand Carved Red Cinnabar Lacquer Vase Peony Geometric Scene Excellent vintage, pre owned condition, just some dust collected on top beautiful hand-carved red cinnabar lacquer vase. The intricate relief work depicts a detailed bird surrounded by peony flowers also features geometric fretwork designs that contrast with the floral motifs. The interior and base of the vase are bright blue lacquer, with a black rim The piece stands approximately 8 inches tall, 3.5 inches at widest tested with a strong magnet, does not attract I estimate it to be mid century This will of course be carefully packaged in a box within a box with plenty of protection so it gets to you safely :)
