Vintage Chinese Carved Soapstone Statue Pig Piglets W/Wood Stand

Vintage Chinese carved statue of a nursing mother pig and 5 piglets! * Soapstone - shades of light and dark brown * Excellent detailing! * Approx. 8" at base and 4 1/2" tall * Approx. 3 pounds 4 ounces * Condition is good vintage - please note that there is a crack at the tip where the mother pig is "kissing" one of the piglets; the crack is visible at the base and is visible at the top; another crack is at the rear of the base where the pig's foot is - refer to photos; not sure if either of these cracks were repaired - feels very solid * "004" is carved into the base and there appears to be other Chinese characters - cannot decipher - refer to photos * Wood base is approx. 9" long and fits the pig perfectly! There are 9 round green felt buttons at the bottom to prevent scratching * Comes from pet-friendly home * Sold "as is" condition Great piece! Reasonable price due to the cracks
