Vintage Char Sher suede fringed lined jacket

Vintage bohemian western style jacket from Char & Sher Santa Fe New Mexico......SIZE MED Handcut Fringe Front to Back and at Sleeves, Scallop Cut Lapel, Fully Lined, Vivid hand painted kokeki and front and back of jacket, slit pockets, full cut dolman sleeve lower band at bottom of jacket, Silver conch button at neckline, hidden full zipper. Color is a gorgeous soft red with silver buttons. High quality construction and artistry. Char was started as a handbag company in Mexico in the late 1960s. In 1982 Char joined with her sister, Sherry Stein, to form Char and Sher. This company made western and southwest style clothing and leather goods.Char and Sher’s men’s western shirt landed on the cover of GQ Magazine, sending their company and design to the forefront of the western clothing fashion craze of the 1980s. In the early 1990s, Char left the company, and has continued to operate as Char. CONDITION Tiny minor mark (see picture) otherwise in excellent condition. Soft snd supple. Awesome for such a vintage gorgeous jacket.
