Vintage Chanel Gripoix Cruiciform Design Button (2)

Beautiful vintage Chanel Gripoix buttosn in the cruiciform design with stones of purple, blue and faux pearls. The silver tone metal is set onto a clear plastic with a protruding single hole metal in the back, typical of Chanel. The stones in the center are poured into the metal frame; I believe they are poured lucite but look like glass. There is the tiny double c's on the bottom of the cross form but you may need to enlarge the photos to see it. This buttons were made probably in the 1990s. Chanel buttons area great way to accessorize for just a 'little touch of Chanel', without having to spend a fortune on their larger jewelry pieces. Pin the button on a scarf or use as a top button for a blouse of jacket to add just a little bit of luxury to your everyday wardrobe. I've had girls buy them and wear them as earrings if you have pierced ears, once the back of the button is pushed through, you need to put something, like a soft wire that can be twisted, in the back of the hole to hold them in place.
