Beautiful, rare, vintage Chanel necklace circa the 1950s-1960s with alternating faux turquoise glass beads and filigree beads, a gilt fob with a turquoise poured glass cabochon, detailed with turquoise glass stones and faux pearls. About 27 inches or so in length from end to end. The fob is missing a faux pearl, as well as one of the small triangular turquoise glass cabochons, but still really beautiful condition for its age. Unsigned, from the days when Coco Chanel was still alive, and so before Chanel began marking all of their jewelry in 1971. I’ve had the piece professionally authenticated and will pass certificate information on to the buyer. These pieces have historically been attributed as having been created for Chanel by Robert Goossens, but I recently learned from Maison Rousselet that they may actually be by Louis Rousselet - I will update the listing accordingly if I get definite confirmation on which parurier created it.
