Vintage Chain Necklace

17 inch vintage chain. No history. Purchased at an estate auction in Vermont in the 1970’s. It’s thick and the color is brassy. People always ask me about it. It’s a bit unusual. It’s possibly chain mail although it is more ropey than typical chain mail weaves. It’s a nice length.
