Vintage Ceramic Elephant Bank Nursery Decor Child's Coin Bank with pastel polka dots. Circa 1975. Vintage ceramic bank features a baby elephant design painted in pastel colors with polka dots on its dress. The elephant is holding a ball in its raised trunk and has a coin slot on its back, indicating its function as a piggy bank. Similar vintage elephant banks, often made in Japan, are documented online, with some dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. These banks were popular nursery decor items and are now considered collectibles. Pre-Owned condition without any chips or cracks. Please look closely at the pictures as this is the actual item you will be purchasing. I do my best to show everything through the pictures, but sometimes, the colors are not the truest due to lighting. BUNDLE = SAVE on shipping. Offers welcome. Many items from my closet can come from third parties: thrift stores, estate auctions and sales, and other sourcing avenues. All items are clean and inspected prior to posting and shipped within 24 hours of purchase. Shipped from a smoke-free, animal (dog-cat) friendly home.
