Vintage Cera High Ball Knights Camelot Glasses Tumblers MCM 22K Gold Trim Durer
Lovely vintage Mid-Century Modern Cera Highball Tumbler Glasses.
Frosted white and black design with clear glass at top and bottom with top rim accented by an elegant 22k gold band.
This vintage 1960s era Cera Glass barware was inspired by Albrecht Durer's great work and features the
"Camelot" pattern depicting medieval knights with armor and horses printed in raised and textured paint.
The Cera Glass Company was a world-renowned glass manufacturer during the Mid-Century era featuring
vibrant colorful designs and intricate details. Cera Glass was made in Hackensack, NJ, in the 1950s & 60s. They created elegant cocktail glasses, barware, and other specialty pieces, which were sold in high-end department stores of the era. Anthony Velonis, who was already a famous WPA silkscreener and artist, started the Cera Glass Company, which pioneered methods of silkscreen printing on glass. Their glassware bares the signature, "Cera." Similar to other Mid Century glassware makers, his designs were trimmed in 22K gold.
Each glass measures 5-1/2" H x 2-3/4" W at the top.
3 glasses available. Black and white graphics are in beautiful condition. The gold band on each glass has varying degrees of finish wear/gold loss in various places. Please see pictures for more details.
