Vintage Celluloid Openwork Flower Brooch, Occupied Japan, 1940s

*Description: This is a beautiful carved celluloid floral brooch with one large flower in a peach and pink tone and at least six other smaller flowers some with orange painted centers and green leaves. The celluloid has been carved so that it appears to have a filigree or lace frame but in actuality it is a part of the background. The carving work is excellent and would make a wonderful collector's item from the 1940's Occupied Japan. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift! *Approximate Measurements: Length - 1 1/2 Inches, Width - 2 1/4 Inches *Condition: Very good vintage condition.
