Hot water tested as Bakelite. I can’t specify if either black or very dark chocolate brown. Please see pics for the vintage condition which seems to be very good May need cleaning.

Can you tell me if this bracelet has been tested? I just purchased another bracelet and a brooch on this app and the listing said they were Bakelite but I tested them (using 3 methods) when I got them yesterday and neither are Bakelite.

@cgarciaphd22 it was tested in a bowl of hot water and produced a formaldehyde
odor as it should as Bakelite.
