Vintage Caro-Nan Hand Painted Woven Basket Purse

This is a vintage hand painted woven basket purse by Caro-nan. They are rare and each is OOAK! The penny which would have provided the date for the painting is missing and there is visible wear due to age and use. It looks like someone probably removed the penny at some point. Inside the basket is lined with red floral material. The rim has a leather band. This piece would be great to use as a lunch box or perhaps a sewing box, or even used a decorative piece on a shelf. Endless possibilities!
