A beautiful vintage small dish measuring 3 inches by 3 inches. It is in excellent vintage condition with no wear, no chips and no cracks.
The roses are soft in color and beautiful to look at.
This is the mark of the Carl Tielsch & Co. porcelain factory, which was located in Altwasser, Germany (now Wałbrzych, Poland). The mark features a double-headed eagle with the initials "C.T." below it.
The company was founded in 1845 by Carl Tielsch.
The mark with the eagle and "C.T." was used from approximately 1850 to 1860.
The Hutschenreuther firm took over the company in 1918 and continued to use the C.T. mark.
The factory produced various porcelain items, including dinnerware, serving bowls, and teacups.
This is an exceptional find as it dates back to the 1850's. And to see it in exceptional condition is great.
What a wonderful piece of porcelain to add to your collection.
