Vintage Camark Art Pottery Victory Vase Aqua 844

I spent some time reading about the esthetic of these two handled Victory Vase stylized designs in the period after World War II. They were designed around the Championship award cups of the time as a way to ease us out of our terrible losses and back into our rightful place as winners. This is just such a remarkable piece. The beautiful semi gloss aqua glaze is in remarkable condition with no crazing, flakes, or incisions of any kind. Dirty inside the bottom. This shape can be found in The Collector's Guide To Camark Pottery Book 2 by David Edwin Gifford, page 192. She stands seven inches tall and five inches across. Packed with pride and care.
