Vintage Calypso for Bernhard Altmann Viennese Cashmere Sweater

This light blue sweater was once part of my very fashionable grandmothers closet. It does not fit me but I’d like to share its beauty with you. For connoisseurs of vintage Altmann and it’s cashmere, this is a small treasure! The piece was made in the early 1940s by our estimates and is in near perfect condition but for a tiny hole along the neckline in the back and fir what appear to be dust marks on a small section of the front. Since I’m no expert in cashmere, I dare not remove the marks myself. I’ve researched and it seems that with care these marks can be easily removed. So that’s the story of the pretty blue sweater!
