Vintage California Pottery Oval Turkey Platter -

Large, colorful California Pottery Thanksgiving turkey platter features a high-relief, hand-painted turkey at the center and a scalloped, basketweave border lined with various fruits and vegetables. This platter is sure to be the centerpiece of your holiday table setting and also makes a great decoration for the holidays. Size: 18.25 inches long, 14.5 inches wide Age: 1950s-1960s (estimated) Marks: Molded into the back, "MADE IN CALIFORNIA / U.S.A." Condition: This platter is in spectacular, used condition. The colors are very bright. No chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks. There are some glaze skips on the border (see Photo #4) but these are not wear marks. Definitely pre-firing.
