Vintage Caliente California Pottery Oval Small Plate – Turquoise This beautiful vintage oval plate is a classic piece from Haldeman Caliente, a California pottery company that operated between 1933 and 1953. Known for their distinctive ceramic designs, Caliente pieces are sought after by collectors for their craftsmanship and vibrant colors. Color: Turquoise Size: 9 1/2" L x 5 3/4" W Markings: Stamped "Caliente" on the bottom (faint due to age) This plate features a lovely turquoise glaze and a unique oval shape with subtle handles on each end. There is some light rubbing/wear on the edges and handles from age and use, but overall, it remains in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
