COACH leather briefcase stamped IRREGULAR w/COA This vintage COACH black leather briefcase is in beautiful condition. There are two outside buckle closures with brass hardware. The back exterior has a full side slip pocket. Underneath the flap are two roomy slip pockets and inside, there is a flap with a zippered pocket and creed. The creed format is from the mid to late 1970s whereby under the Coach® Creed is printed: “MADE IN THE UNITED STATES” or “MADE IN U.S.A.” The serial number contains seven numbers in the format: xxx-xxxx. It is also stamped “IRREGULAR” upside down on the upper right hand corner of the creed flap. I noticed a small indents on the front flap (see photo) The handles are in very good condition, no rips or tears. The strap leather has softened due to age and I noticed a slight tear (see photo) but see it has been repaired with leather glue. Measurements are approximately 12”h x 16”w x 2.5”d
