Vintage COACH NYC Dinky Serial No. Tabac Leather Crossbody Bag

This adorable vintage COACH Dinky Tabac Tan Leather Crossbody, was made in New York City at the Original Coach Leatherware Factory. It is in fantastic pre-loved condition! It is pre-style number (has a serial number) which means the purse was made before 1993 (The made in NYC stamp was used on the creed starting in the 1970’s, through the late 1980’s). This also has the Coach Leatherware Cartouche above the creed. Made in NYC entirely of glovetanned leather and features the iconic Coach brass turn-lock, this Dinky measures approximately 8 1/2” wide, 5” high, and 1 1/2” deep with a 20 1/2” crossbody strap drop. The turn-lock opens to reveal an unlined suede interior with an interior zip pocket. Please see all photos for condition. I have recently cleaned and conditioned this bag with leather care products, and brushed the suede interior. There are several pen marks inside, and a pen mark on the inside flap that I’m not able to remove. The leather overall is in excellent shape, with no damage to point out. There are some variations in color to the leather, and patina which adds charm and character to this 35+ year old Coach Dinky. Comes from a smoke free home.
