Vintage COACH Large Madison Satchel British Tan Leather NYC Serial Number

This iconic Vintage COACH Large Madison Satchel was made in NYC prior to 1994, and is excellent pre-loved Vintage Condition. Made in New York City, entirely of British Tan glovetanned leather and brass hardware, this stylish Madison “Boston style” satchel measures approximately 12” wide, 7 1/2” high, and 5 1/2” inches deep. You can carry this stylish bag by its handles, which measure a 4” drop, or add a strap with a 19” drop for shoulder or crossbody wear. The zip top opens to access a clean and roomy suede lined interior with a single leather slip pocket. A few special things to note about this Madison Satchel… * this does not have a style number, it has a random serial number because it was made before 1994 * it was made at Coach’s original factory in New York City * it has a single sided hang tag * there is a little anchor stamped into the lobster claw clasp hardware left by the manufacturer Please see all photos for condition. There are variations to the leather color as a result of use and time this is desirable, and not damage. This patina can be seen on the handles, sides, and other parts of the bag. The leather is in fabulous shape. There is no damage to point out. I have recently applied leather conditioner. Comes from a smoke free home.
