This unique and hard-to-find Vintage Coach Equestrian Small Flap Crossbody Purse, style 9801, was made in 1997, and is in Good Vintage Condition. Made in the USA entirely of a thick and durable Glovetanned Leather in the color Toffee Brown with brass hardware, this Equestrian Small Flap Crossbody measures approximately 8 1/2” wide, 6 1/2” high, and 3” deep with a 22” adjustable crossbody strap drop with a unique buckle adjustment on either side of the purse. The leather lined front flap is secured with a hidden magnetic snap closure. The unlined suede interior compartment also includes a leather zip pocket. Please see all photos for condition. This little Coach Equestrian has been well loved. There are signs of wear in varying degrees all over the purse. The Toffee color is also inconsistent, and the leather is softest where the belt loops are on the side. However, the Coach Equestrian line is made of thicker leather which itself is really in very good condition. There is no damage to the piping around the bottom, no cracking, tears or any damage to the leather. This purse has just been loved…but, it does have a lot of love left to receive. I have recently cleaned this bag with Saddle Soap, treated it with Mink Oil and conditioned it with Leather Honey. The inside suede has been brushed and is nice and clean.
