Vintage CAROLEE Duchess of Windsor Panther Lorgnette Magnifying Glass Necklace

Vintage signed CAROLEE, Duchess of Windsor double panther lorgnette magnifying glass necklace in goldtone. This was part of the Carolee Duchess collection which was inspired by the Duchess' jewels, one of her favorites being the panther jewelry. Long 32" goldtone chain (Pendant magnifier is not removable from chain). Lobster claw clasp. Signed CAROLEE on a plaque on the back of pendant. The lorgnette is glass, no scratches or marks on glass. The glass oval itself is pretty large, measuring 1" across x 1 1/2" up and down - this does not include the panthers sitting on top or the goldtone frame in which the glass is set. Total height of the pendant, including the gold attachment links that connect to the chain, is 3" from top to bottom. Nice magnification. Carolee uses Swarovski crystals to represent the real jewels, and I am assuming these are. The body is done with clear round faceted crystals and small black ones to represent the spots. Tiny green crystal eyes. There is no wear to the goldtone front or back and the stones are all original and intact. The necklace and all the parts are in excellent condition. Great holiday gift.
