Vintage Burmese Thai Thailand Handpainted Wooden Bamboo Lidded Rice Basket

Rare find Vintage Burmese lacquered bamboo lidded rice basket. The basket is made of high-quality bamboo and has a beautiful multi-color design. The basket is very big. Roughly 24" x 18" I'm guessing but I'll measure exactly for you if you want it. It is an original piece from the Burma region and is post-1940 in age. The basket is used and has areas of wear that are appropriate for its age. In overall good condition, minor scratches and the bamboo splitting. Pictures are part of the description.
